Sales Manager of the Taranto Terminal will follow the commercial performance, development and improvement in the shipping market. The role will network to the local key account customers as well as business cargo owners. Perform sales activities and develop commercial synergies in Italy. Take an active role as a contact person for the sales function between Taranto and the HQ. Follow the budget for the terminal and provide volume and revenue estimations in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute in creating a corporate culture that is based upon open communication, respect, transparency and a high level of professionalism across the terminal and employees. Provide positive leadership and energy in support of YPH's goal to be a Top 10 Global Operator by 2025.

• Work under the direction of CMO of YILPORT Holding to establish and implement key organizational goals, budgets, policies and KPIs for the respective functional areas.

• Take a leading role in providing excellent customer service to the customers, especially to shipping lines, agencies and business cargo owners.

• Follow closely the market trends, updates and share with the sales organization, CMO as well as the GM. Work on the trade lane analysis, competitive status and micro economical trends related to the growth drivers and prepare studies
•reports, share within the company.

• Provide the Taranto terminal volume and revenue estimation via setting the budget revenue and volume part, leading the volume and revenue annual workshops at the HQ.

• Perform a series of networking events and coordinate the activities with GM.

• Follow up the service contracts and set annual workshops to define coming year strategy on tariffs and customer on a terminal base.

• Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization and build relationship.

• Enhance existing customer relationships, analyze their demands and needs in an appropriate way to benefit the YPH organization.

• Integrate logistic solutions to terminal services and extend the hinterland of the terminal and develop trade routes through the terminal.

• Improve service channels to increase the total benefits and produce solutions by coordinating with related department heads.

• Become a bridge between the customers and internal departments such as operation, charging, legal, information technology by working closely with each party.

• Identify the situation with the relevant departments and ensure that the needed action is taken to improve operational efficiency.

• Handle customer complaints in a timely and an effective manner to prevent negative effects that may occur in the process.

• Follow up the local conferences, events and attend to the ones which helps our sales activities.

• Follow up the Corporate Identity approach and set YILPORT brand in the Italian market.

• Follow up the industry magazines and work with marketing communication on advertising and marketing activities in a timely manner.

• Be a regular and efficient user of CRM system of Yilport Holding.

• Work on the Tickets internally with the related departments and provide productive, constructive responds to the customers related to tickets.

• Work on the overdues respect to the collection procedure and communicate the overdues with the customers

• Work close with the sales organization of Yilport and find out synergies and multi
•regional/terminal customers. Use the global network of Yilport and Yildirim for the potential business.

Requisiti

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marine or Logistics with a Master's degree would be preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of experience in managing a team.
• Business Development and client management experience would be a distinct advantage.
• Customer orientated and motivated team player with strong relationship•building skills and ability to motivate team through proven leadership skills.
• Key skills and competencies include leadership, customer orientation, influencing, facilitation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving,
• Desire to deliver outstanding results and increase revenue of the company,
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities. work under pressure,
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.
