Marine Interiors is today the leader in design, construction and delivery of turnkey cabins and wet units for cruise ships.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The senior project manager oversees cabins and wet units outfitting, ensuring the respect of time, quality and cost requirements. Responsabilities:
Plan, monitor and update the outfitting activities and cooperate with the supply chain and Yard to optimize the construction process
Monitor the consistency between the schedule of activities, delivery dates of the materials and allocation of the workforce
Define the resources necessary for the execution of the outfitting as planned and report any overruns
Validate the planned activities with other functions (e.g. Production and assembly)
Supervision of the procurement activities, ensuring the respect of technical requirements
Support in the quotation process (e.g. identifying any critical issues / risks and promoting further improvement actions concerning the quotation)
Management and analysis of the project scope of work, execution program and quality required
Definition of an operating budget
Management and supervision of a multidisciplinary team
Participation in Yard activities, especially, on-board inspections
Supervise the equipment and material delivery to the Yard
Identification of critical issues and definition of corrective actions
Cooperate with Client and Ship Owner to ensure the delivery of the project and other possible extra request

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Significant experience in project management roles in the naval sector
Professional experience in vessel furnishing of cabins and wet units would be a strong advantage
PMP Certification
Solid understanding of technical documentation (e.g. technical and architectural drawings, )
Analysis and planning skills
Demonstrable team management experience
Relational and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Negotiation skills
Team worker
Flexibility, to meet project deadlines
Customer-oriented
Excellent communication skills Educational
Architecture or engineering degree
IT competences: professional knowledge of commonly used software (e.g. Microsoft Office) Comprehensive knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD and Primavera P6
Language skills: Italian native English professional knowledge Chinese professional knowledge is considered a plus
