PROCESS QUALITY MANAGER

ROLE
Responding direcly to the Plant Quality Manager, the Process Quality Manager coordinates the Quality Assurance team being responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
The Process Quality Manager and his/her team are responsible for:
- Establishing and implementing process control plans to include capability studies, gage repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.
- Providing quality related documents to the manufacturing team, including control plans, control chart, visual and work instructions.
- Ensuring control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
- Monitoring production processes for conformance to control plans and customer requirements.
- Monitoring production processes quality performance for conformance to quality performance target, developing SPC activities and capability analysis
- Participating in Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Participating in the development and updating of Design and Process FMEàs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Monitoring and reporting on quality-related key performance indicators such as scrap levels, rework and soring levels, parts per million (PPM).
- Ensuring compliance to the Quality Management System
- Leading and overseeing continuous improvements activities on current processes, using Lean and Six Sigma concepts
- Overseeing and supporting MSA activities
- Leading, performing and monitoring Audit (LPA, Process, Product and System) according to the plan
As team responsible:
- Leading and supporting members of the team providing giudance and priorities
- Monitoring team activities with regular overviews
- Developing team members careers
- Communicating efficiently with the team, sharing quality performance trends and strategies



- Expertise in automotive business
- Knowledge of quality systems and measurement
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Knowledge of TS16949
- Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Planning and prioritising activities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to present data effectively
- Problem-solving skills
