Lean Manufacturing Specialist

The role:

The role is to support, develop and promote the Lean Manufacturing principles and system within the plant based in Ovaro.

Essential duties and responsabilities:

• drive the Lean deployment across factories and functions;
• implementation of Root-cause analysis (RCA) & corrective actions, Process Standardization, Maintainance Excellence Program and support to Technological upgrades;
• involve people leading and co-ordinating workshops and activities related to continuous improvement in a multicultural environment
• conducting site wide Lean audits and compiling progress data and reports
• be the promoter of internal best practice
• train staff on 5S+1 methodology: manage/coordinate internal audits in order to maintain the new standards
• co-drive the Lean Cultural Change

Education and experience:

• bachelor’s Degree in industrial Engineering;
• advanced knowledge of Lean and Continuous improvement tools and methodology;
• at least 5+ years’ experience in Lean Manufacturing;
• excellent knowledge of English;
• ability to manage strict deadlines;
• strong analytical skills and attentions to details;
• proactive approach, problem solving, good soft skills, confidentiality and ability to work in a team.
