Legal Responsibilities: Responsible for providing legal and compliance support to the business units in their daily operations and development initiatives including but not limited to providing legal advice on all business and corporate matters, such as running of the local tasks and surrounding port and terminal businesses, regulating corporate meetings and representation of the local entities, advising on customer transactions and possible litigation, guidance on possible cross-border issues etc..
Industrial Relations Responsibilities: Responsible for carrying out targets related with Industrial Relations. Define, develop, and successfully implement functional and local labor and Industrial Relations initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day legal, compliance and labor law support, advice, counsel and decisions to all business units
- Develop and implement a legal and human resources corporate compliance structure of the terminal
- Negotiate, monitor, and follow-up in administrative concessions procedures, including drafting of proposals for concession contracts and legal assistance during the negotiation phase
- Act as business liaison with local authorities, with local Employers` Associations and with Unions in an effective manner
- Acts as terminal representative at all hearings with relation to legal, regulatory or statutory matters either in court or with required local bodies.
- Negotiate, monitor and follow-up in collective bargaining agreement (CBA) procedures, including drafting of proposals for collective agreements and legal assistance during the negotiation phases
- Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines communicating and enforcing organization values
- Negotiate, draft and finalize contractual documentation of share sales and purchase agreements (SPA) and assist relevant teams in negotiation, drafting and finalization of project finance and term loans agreements
- Support the claims team in their handling of all Claims in relation with Shipping Lines, Consignees, Insurers, Surveyors and all Stakeholders in the Claims Process.
- Follow-up in training contracts, and employment contracts applicable in Italy
- Maintain and handle of all board materials, AGM materials, manage the schedules of meetings, and file all required documents by the relevant authorities
- Advice on the management of human resources: general monitoring of contractual procedures and negotiation of employment contract and termination agreements
- Conduct research and required investigation when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth
- Coordinate the relationship with and manage the work of all service providers or consultants in legal and HR.
- Keep abreast of all changes in law and regulatory issues and is the conscience keeper of the organization on these issues.
- Be the first point of contact to respond to routine compliance queries and to alert the Departments if a problem needs to be escalated.
- Support management in the implementation and running of the risk assessment and monitoring process and ensures that risks are appropriately identified and monitoring actions carried out.
- Help ensure that the Holding`s mission, vision and values are pertinent, prominent and practiced in Taranto

Qualifications:
- Labor Law degree is required. Post-Graduation or MA is preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience experience in handling legal matters preferably in the port sector or in related industry.
- Experience of working in an international organization and/or complex organizational environment
- Familiarization with local civil, commercial, criminal, labour laws & practices.
- Fluency in Italian and English is required
