Field Activities Coordinator - Oil and Gas Industry

Directly coordinate and supervise field service activities, in order to cope with special time-limited site needs Identify support needs from the site and coordinate with other departments to manage assistance activities Map out critical know-how and activities, identifying skill sets, minimum qualifications required and all improvement actions needed accordingly, to match different Service profiles (e.g. Turbine Engineer, Compressor Engineer, Generator Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Start-Up Engineer, etc.), meet site needs and enlarge Service business opportunities Use his own in-depth knowledge and professional experience, in order to provide the whole Company with advisory and consultative engineering services, mainly regarding field activities and procedures.

Responsabilities:
Use in-depth knowledge and professional experience on field activities to timely focus on concrete issues reported by FSEs while working on-site, in a task-oriented way, making necessary recommendations, suggesting how to properly approach and fix them. This kind of support may be requested on-demand by the Field Support Center.

Map out FSEs critical know-how and activities, identifying competencies areas and skill sets, as well as the minimum qualifications and/or expertise required within the industry and improvement actions needed from the Company side accordingly, to match different Service profiles (e.g. Turbine Engineer, Compressor Engineer, Generator Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Start-Up Engineer, etc.) and meet site needs. Skill sets and profiles must fit Company mission and vision statements and keep into consideration upcoming/new business opportunities.

Set up and develop FSEs competencies brand new assessment tools (Form and Dictionary) once available, keep them updated and aligned with actual Service business requirements.

Promptly report to the Service Department and to the HR Department any progress/results/issues/failures coming from the FSEs area.

Identify support needs from the site and ensure the provision of remote support to the field staff for the correct execution of the planned tasks, appropriately using the human resources made available by the technical structure and / or the Service structure.

Knowing how to manage and coordinate resources in order to understand their necessities and be able to reports to the relevant Department of competence.
Education:
Degree in Engineering or similar High school diploma.

Personal competencies:
Required to act as a subject-matter expert.
Able to carry out advanced troubleshooting activities.
Able to determine proper work procedures.
Able to assist people from a distance.
Fluent English both written and spoken (mandatory requirement).
Able to work under-pressure within stressing environments.
Problem-solving abilities.
Time-management and goal oriented (e.g. in respecting deadlines).
Strong Customer Service mindset.
Acting as a team player and able to lead people when required.
Able to communicate in a proper and effective way respecting roles and hierarchy.
Able and accurate in reporting.
Fully compliant with EHS and quality requirements and standards.
Open minded and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment
Available to work in foreign Countries with no geographical limitation.
