COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

The Opportunity:

As Communication Specialist you will be part of our Operations Planning department and will be reporting to the Supervisor Communication.

In your role you will support Internal Communications Supervisor in providing advice and strategic communication direction, dealing with internal and external changes.
A key responsibility of the role will be to ensure that everyone within the organization has access to relevant information concerning the company's objectives, business, mission, projects and challenges. You will also collaborate to develop and strengthen the relationship with local authorities and local business community, by supporting social and educational initiatives and following the local compliance and integrity program.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Advance business knowledge by providing the affiliate with the most updated and useful information, the business in general, the economic, legislative and political environment. Review internal communication activities and improve the activities flows. Advance the sense of belonging of all people by leveraging values, mission, vision and strategy.
- Foster awareness developing a strong internal engagement program leveraging also on the internal branding elements and proactively involving our people. Regulate the access to / use of all the internal communication tools. Collaborate in the organization of events, meetings, conventions involving the affiliate or external events in order to improve employees' involvement.
- Support HR department in employer branding activities in order to attract and engage talents. Support the management in special and crisis situations. Foster dialogue with local industrial associations and institutions to further cooperate.
- Collaborate to develop and strengthen relations with local institutions and authorities in order to cooperate in social and education activities and keep opened the dialogue on business subjects. Manage the contribution activities in order to support local community needs in line with the global contribution strategy.
- Work constantly with the management in order to improve communication and relation skills through training and advice.

Requirements & Skills:
- University degree
- 2 years of professional experience in communications, media or journalism. Digital media experience and Social media proficiency are a plus.
- Knowledge in MS Office Package.
- Strong communication, teamwork and listening skills. Ability to interact with higher management and strong customer orientation. Action orientation, learning on the fly, priority setting and problem solving attitude.
- Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken.

The position will be based in Bologna.
